A MESSAGE FROM THE OWNER; ReDefining Yoga, Pilates w/Tai Chi Studio

My most valued experience has come from time spent on the mat;
as a student learning, a teacher teaching, a coach coaching,
within my own Self practice, practicing. 

 

Inspiration has been found through many insightful gurus, teachers and students.

​

My consistent goal is to teach a return to spiritual, moral, and ethical behavior based upon respect of Self and of others through a constructed and whole yoga practice.

Tenants of Community (showing up); 

Principle (honesty);

Purpose (releasing expectation); and

Non-Resistance (being open to outcome)

Definition:

Focus: Physical, psychological and Spiritual balance through integration and intention of specific defining principles and philosophies; of strength and flexibility balance built within a pranic energy induced creative flow that inspires brain health; while building acceptance that change is the only constant.

 

Seeks to Inspire:

That the path to change, in the world of which we live, is in the understanding and acceptance that change is the only constant; and that brain (mental health), physical and spiritual health is imperative to this understanding and acceptance.

Motivational Yoga [MY] inspires this understanding and acceptance

through the trinity of;

THE TOOLS

1. Teaches the importance of being present (of ‘showing up’) through long asana (posture) holds with; an active integrated and intentional internal focus; an active self-inquiry; and engagement of active drishti, bandha, pranayama and meditation techniques.

 

2. Encourages that you meet your Self on the mat (honesty);  actively engaging edges through disciplined defining principles while consciously launching  a set sequence of self-inquiry.

​

3. Developing ‘Adaptability to Change’ (letting go of expectation); through creative and ever-changing sequencing and joyful surprise; sequencing follows pranic energy as it moves through the body with a strong focus on letting your breath 'do the work'.

 

4. Cultivating an ‘Acceptance to all Outcomes’; through Gratitude and Grace both on the mat and off the mat.

 

Motivational Yoga {MY} teaches you strength and fluidity within your own stillness,

allows you to find, and experience your personal Grace Point; and

acknowledges the constant challenge of edges and walls.

Every 3rd Sunday of every month @ 9.15 am; an invitation to move deeper into the physical, energetic and spiritual bodies; community within reflects outward.

**Certified Yoga Trainer Credential / Yoga Alliance Professionals

Must be taught by a registered Senior Yoga Teacher and hold the above credentials.
