Service Description

Yin is physically passive; a practice of seated, supine (lying on back), or prone (lying on stomach) poses held for a few minutes each to reach into the deepest layers of our connective tissue, with most of the poses focusing on the spine and hips as dense connective tissue in these joints require extra care, and attention. Yin poses appear the same as traditional Hatha yet the intention is different; stretch and strengthen using gravity as a tool. Soft music, lights; meditation and nidra resulting in an individual layered physical, psychological/emotional and spiritual experience.
